Welcome
We strive to breed quality Mastiffs that are a joy to own, a joy to live with and are healthy, loyal family members.
Located on 35 acres in North GA Mountains, our Mastiffs are raised in our home with our children (as well as chickens, goats, horses and a few rescue dogs) to ensure true Mastiff temperament. Our dogs are well-socialized and are wonderful companions. They LOVE their family and are leary of strangers. They are not aggressive but will make their presence known. Mastiffs are
certainly not for everyone; they’re huge, they shed, they drool. The Mastiff is a giant breed and as such requires more specialized care then normal-sized, breeds. They are VERY sensitive and require a firm but gentle hand. They do not like change. Socializing them helps them become well rounded. Mastiffs are expensive to purchase, they are also expensive to maintain. Quality food is essential. We recommend a low protein, holistic/natural food with glucosamine in it. This ensures that they do not grow too fast, which adds unwanted weight on their soft bones that can lead to Hip Dysplasia. Veterinary care is always more expensive for a giant breed. However, for those who appreciate the Mastiff’s guardianship, loyalty, and companionship, no other breed could ever compare.
I once read, a Mastiff is like a potato chip…. you can’t have just one.
We hope that you will research what breed would be best for your family. Feel free to contact us with any questions so that you can have a lifetime of happiness with your choice, whether it be a Mastiff or other breed.
